DHIS2 Annual Conference 2019

In this session we have two presentations, from mHealth4Afrika and FIND, concerning interoperability.

mHealth4Afrika has co-designed a comprehensive and extensible patient-centric, multi-program custom application on top of DHIS2. It interacts via a WebAPI with mHealth4Afrika data models configured in DHIS2 for each medical program.

FIND is presenting the diagnostics DHIS2 TB showcase, focussed on presenting the ‘art of the possible’ with regards to integrating diagnostic information, into DHIS2, within the context of TB treatment. Data from an advanced TB diagnostic instrument (Cepheid’s GeneXpert) is captured, along with supporting
epidemiological information, and transmitted (via mobile data) to a connectivity layer which translates
and transforms the data, passing the resultant dataset to DHIS2.
